Casting to wild fish is the silver thread in fly fishing. Working to understand the hatches, learning the tendencies of the fish, and facing our incapabilities are forms of a single prayer that the river's wildness may for a moment or two breathe its life into us.
Our guide services and casting instruction are based on many years of fly fishing experience. Dan has fished and taught from Colorado to Michigan, and in saltwater flats from Florida to Mexico.

Teaching Certifications
We are strongly affiliated with the Federation of Fly Fishers. 
Dan is a Master Certified Casting Instructor, a Certified Two Hand (Spey) Casting Instructor, and a member of the FFF Guides Association. He has for many years presented FFF workshops, taught private and group casting sessions, and served as an examiner for casting instructor candidates.
